Tips for Your Headshot Session
For your headshot session, you will look more relaxed in your headshots if you wear clothing that you are comfortable in. This will help you to look your best, comfortable and confident. Plain solid and neutral colours work best for headshots, in well fitting clothes. Avoid “loud” patterns, and bright logos. The main point of a headshot is to keep the focus on your face and not what you wear. Avoid clothing that wrinkles or bunch up easily. Simple is best.
Read MoreJess and Aidan
In September 2021, we photographed the lovely wedding of Jess and Aidan. Their wedding had previously been postponed due to the pandemic. They were married at the stunning Manor at Old Down Estate, Tockington, near Bristol . Our wedding coverage started with a pre wedding portrait session, some weeks before the wedding day. We find this helps the the bride & groom to be more relaxed for their photos on the big day. The wedding day coverage started with the bride’s preparations at The Manor, followed by the guest arrivals, the ceremony, signing of the register, and the confetti throwing. Family groups were then followed by some bridal portraits of Jess and Aidan, in the beautiful grounds of The Manor. We also covered the speeches, through to the first dance. With their kind permission, here are a few images from their wedding …….

I did the "Where The Wall" street art tour with John Nation today in Central Bristol. Thanks to John for a very interesting and informative tour, something I’ve been looking to do for ages. John is a mine of information on the Bristol Street Art scene, a subject he speaks very passionately about. I’ve known John since the 80’s, drinking in local pubs, and his support of the red side of Bristol football.
Street art is a controversial subject; art to some people, and vandalism to others. I love the street art, Banksy pieces and tributes to famous local people, like DJ Derek. What I don’t like is the tagging

On a cold April morning back in 2019, I took a trip on the Matthew, down the river Avon under the Clifton Suspension Bridge, and along the Avon Gorge.
